Love this place!! It's a hole in the wall, Mom and Pop place. The interior was small and comfortable with HGTV on, the staff was kind and courteous but most importantly, the pizza and garlic knots were AMAZING. I got the pepponi and mushroom pizza by the slice. It was so perfectly crisp and i found pleasure in rolling the pizza up new york style to finish it off. The garlic knot was soft and garlicky heaven especially dipped in their marinara. I'll be back soon and often!

I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. So my expectations for good pizza are set incredible high. Most pizza parlors in Texas can't hold a candle to New York style pizza. You have your Dominoes, your Pizza Hut, and some so/so pizza parlors. Miss Ellie's is incredible and blows away the competition. As a native New Yorker I can officially say that Miss Ellie's is the best pizza in San Antonio if not all of Texas. I've ordered pies from Miss Ellie's and given them to native Texans, let me just say it changes their perception on pizza for the rest of there lives.

Good place to get New York style pizza. Locally owned. The place is nothing fancy, be better for carry out or delivery. But the staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. We got the Miss Ellie's Special which pretty much has everything on it. Word of advice, they load the toppings on which was a little too much to me but the crust and sauce were very good. Next time I will just get 1 or 2 toppings. And you must try the garlic knots!

Very good pizza and average staff. The secret to their pizza is the sauce. The thin crispy crust is the icing on top as their pizza hits the spot!

Best pizza option on the north side. A great option if you like traditional ny style pizza with a thin my style crust. We ordered delivery and got just what we ordered and was hot and everyone lived the pizza. They split toppings on order with no problem and everyone was happy.

This is the only place I've found garlic rolls (they call them knots) in San Antonio. That being said, their pizza is pretty tasty. The crust isn't cracker-thin, but just thin enough to stay crispy. This is one of my favorite pizzas in town...it's pretty close to my beloved NY style pizza! The reason I give it 3 stars is because they charge for soft drink refills. They also charged my husband for a cup of ice water. That alone will make us rethink going back, which is a shame, since the pizza and garlic knots are good.

Best pizza I have had in San Antonio so far!!! So, so good. Try the sausage. They put very thin slices of sausage all over the pizza. First time I have seen it done that way and it is really good. Fair prices too.

The pizza is superb. The toppings are mounded, but do not fear floppy pizza. They have delicious crispy crust that completes the pie marvelously. Eat here, you won't regret it.
